Gaia + Sectr advice

It's a common question, but I would like some advice in my case 🙂

I got a terrain of 1536 x 1536 divided in 256 x 256 pieces in different scenes (with Gaia). However some of the scenes with the respective terrain and objects inside it are heavy loaded, just loading one of the scenes for example uses 11 GB of memory, while others use just 3 GB. Those heavy loaded scenes are the ones I would like to prioritize and lower the amount of memory I'm using. Most of the memory heavy load is because of the textures the objects have, they are buildings with interiors and props. So here I wonder if it's a good idea to use SECTR to help lower the memory usage or should I look for something else?

I would look into something like the scene optimizer.
This could help reduce memory costs.
I also recommend taking a look at this article in regards to optimization:

Does scene optimizer includes texture baker?

I am in a similar situation...
I have a 2040x2048 terrain I would like to optimize further.

Can I "remove scene" or delete terrain sections outside of the playable area such as below sea level areas not seen or encountered by the player?

Personally what I would do is use Gaia Pro 2021 if you have it.
The terrains not really visible or used I would use the Terrain Mesh Exporter and create meshes out of those terrains.
Then I would remove the old terrains.

I would also reduce the textures for those terrains as well this will save some performance.
Hope this helps!

In my case Scene Optimizer wouldn't help me, because the memory load is in the textures.

I have many building with interiors, I wonder if it's a good idea to use SECTR for the interiors of those buildings and load them depending on the player position. (I'm also using Gaia Pro with scene streaming btw)
