Howto: multi terrain / world streaming support / big maps

Hi,

i am not looking for a step-by-step guide, but maybe a link to a source that goes more into detail about this topic.

In general, i am looking to have big open world maps like in the game "Rust" for example:

A good learning source as recommendation would be really appreciated.

As the article that Adam had suggested, Gaia Pro 2021 comes with World Streaming. 
This article highlights the ability that Gaia Pro 2021 has which is world streaming, the ability to create multi-terrain and multi-scene worlds. 

This would be the recommended way, to create larger worlds without a massive load to your pc. 
I always suggest that you create a world and go ahead and texture the terrain and spawn one of the preset biomes. 
Then create a build and test what your pc is running at in the task manager. 

A good guide line is Steam: 
Steam requires you to have your game run no more than 8gb of ram - 12gb ram


So use this as a target.
