Fog not rendering over water in HDRP

Hi again!

I've just noticed that when I add fog to a volume in my scene, it doesn't seem to render on / over Gaia Water. I'm using HDRP, which is probably something to do with it.

It looks really off, though - like the fog just suddenly stops abruptly at the shoreline.

Any ideas?

Hi @mroshaw, could you please post a screenshot of that issue? Difficult to tell what is going on without it. I tried to reproduce the issue by setting up a volume in the scene, and setting up the fog overrides:

Inside the volume, seems to work and (additional) fog is displayed over the water and terrain:
