Hey all,

Can I change my medium island set as a single tile to multi-tile (eg 3x3) without changing the shape and size of the terrain itself?

(searched but didn't see this as an existing post).

thanks

Yes you could.
I would use the Terrain Scanner from the Gaia Manager.
Window - Procedural Worlds - Gaia - Show Gaia Manager - Advanced - Terrain Scanner.

Scan the terrain, and this will make a .exr file (heightmap).
Then go to the Gaia manager and make a world size of the 3x3.
Then with that stamp you just made stamp the world.

You can do the create terrain scenes if you want world streaming enabled.
Depending on the size of the world you may want this, also if you are having way to much memory per scene I would do this as well.

Thank you Bryan, Im following this process now. It would be great to be able to change an existing scene to multi-tile as a future development but I imagine that could be complicated.

Thanks for your help.
