Procedural Biome Generation

Hi,

 

I just bought GAIA 2023 on the asset store, and can't figure out how to have GAIA auto generate different biomes on world creation. Can GAIA even do this or do biomes have to be spawned manually?

After generating the world (choose 1 biome), if you wish to add more, you must go to Gaia Manager, advanced, GaiaTerrains, Add Existing Biomes, you will see AddBiome.

To avoid mixing biome spawners, you must use the Biome MaskSetting (GaiaTools, {NameOfBiome}).

Thats correct. 

The Gaia Biome can be spawned with you to make the world when you choose them in the Create World tab. 
Mainly the texture spawner from one of the biome presets can be spawned. 

The other way to make everything else spawn would be to go into the biome spawners. 
For Example: 
If you are using Gaia Pro 2023 go to: 
Assets - Procedural Worlds- Packages-install - Gaia Pro Assets and Biomes- Biomes 
Click on Alpine Meadow.asset 
Then in the inspector, you will find biome settings. 

S B and P. 

S = Active in Stamper. 
This will spawn the texture spawner when you generate your world.
