Scene Optimizer Questions

Hello, I have few questions about scene optimizer.

1) After we click optimize Scene button, Can we completely delete scene optimizer from game final project?
Based on Question 1
2) If we can't delete scene optimizer scripts then why do we need them? How will they help after combining the meshes?
3) As far as i have used scene optimizer and learnt it, I feel it just combines the meshes smartly right? nothing other then that right?

You can remove the scene optimizer tool. 
However, don't remove the data folder. 
Correct nothing other than that, it doesn't add scripts or any metadata. 
Just note, that if you delete the originals, you will not be able to revert it.
