Update on the Terrain Shader in Development

Hello Everyone,

as you might have seen it mentioned here and there we are working on a terrain shader system.  We wanted to share some recent screenshots with you as we are working on this system:

The shader features dynamic snow coverage which can be seen here. This allows you to add and remove snow coverage during runtime. (Or sand, mud, etc. if you put a different snow texture in of course)  In the lower right corner of the image you can see the "geological layers" feature which allows you to add a color & a normal map to simulate different geological layers in rock structures.

The shader will feature height based texture blending which allows for more interesting intersections where two textures meet:
