The volumetric light is controlled by the rotation of the "Sun" object under Gaia Lighting - the problem is that the daytime skybox was created at a time where with the daytime lighting preset of Gaia the light would shine directly from above,  in the newer Gaia versions we have changed the light to come in a slight angle so it throws more interesting shadows on the terrain. You can align this by adjusting the sun pitch (& potentially the "skybox rotation offset") in the Gaia Lighting settings so that it aligns with the baked sun in the skybox.

@Mattis89 You need Unity 2021.2 and higher & HDRP, then you can add the preview version already from the Gaia Manager "Advanced" > "Gaia Runtime":


Since it is a preview I would recommend to test this in an example scene first and make backups of actual production scenes before using it there. The final version for this is around the corner, there will be an early access version of this on canopy very soon, then followed by the official release some time after.
