Desert Detailed Biome turning black when zooming in

Hi everyone, looks like the Desert Detailed Biome is broken, my terrains work on the Forest biomes however. So I think this is just an issue with this new Biome. I'm very excited to use it when its fixed.

@ProjectHaze Which render pipeline are you using, and are you using a custom terrain shader by any chance? If you are running HDRP and you have more than 8 textures on the terrain (e.g. by leftover textures from other biomes, experiments, etc.) , this can cause this issue as well. (The Unity HDRP terrain shader does not support more than 8 textures on the terrain.)

This is HDRP and I'm not adding a custom shader ,  this is just an empty scene with a desert terrain.

If it is not the more than 8 textures issue, it could be a problem with the lighting setup in the scene. Could you please try to set up lighting from the "Create Runtime" tab in the Gaia Manager?

I've tried to add the lighting, with create runtime, but that doesn't fix the issue.

I'm still on Unity 2021.2.13f1, do I need to update to 2021.2.17f1
