How to safely clear down "Gaia User Data"

Hello!

I'm experimenting a lot as I learn the ins and outs of Gaia Pro and GeNa Pro. In the process, my "Gaia User Data" folder is getting larger and larger. It's currently sitting at around 2GB.

I know there are some ultra-important files in there (having accidentally deleting it in the past!), but there are also sessions and terrains that have long since been removed from my project.

Is there an "official" process or tool to safely clear out that folder?

Many thanks again!

Oli

Yes, in general it is not a good idea to delete the Gaia User Data folder: It contains some user specific settings, exports that you might have made (e.g. with the terrain mesh exporter) and most importantly, the terrain and scene data from the scenes you make with Gaia. Deleting the wrong files from the user data folder can ultimately lead to scenes not working anymore, and terrains going missing.
I started to write up what you can delete and what not, and then I realised this should be a proper article in the Library instead:
