question about Gena - terrain decorators

ok, i am playing around terrain decorator - function lower terrain. I was wondering what controls how far you lower the terrain by.

what i am hoping for is something like this:

the gray will be a water plane, later. This was done using  raise and lower brush on the terrain with a brush size of  15, and opacity of  1.

The final product will a small pond in a village prefab. so when the map builder spawns villages and cities, it will be able to create small ponds for the farm villages.

@DKnight,

I can see the problem. So just to clarify, you wish to have more control over the 'lower' option by lessening the impact of the current texture (i.e, you want to lower only just a little bit). Right?

Yes I can confirm that this indeed does not fix the issue. 
In order for this to behave the way you wish, we would have to allow you to offset the strength of the texture in the negatives. This is something we need to implement to allow you to do it. 

Keep following this post and I'll let you know when we have a patch for this 😁

Hey @DKnight!

Great news, I have improved the editor for the functionality you're hoping to achieve and this will be rolled out today along with GeNa 3.3.16. The new system gives you fine grain control over both the Raise + Lower system.
