forward / back functions

Hi there, I see pause and play functions in the api but I don't see a way to skip forward or back one audio file in a given sequence. Is there a way to do this? this would enable a sequence to act a bit like a playlist you see.

I believe you could do this with Events. 
As far as the API it's not a common case, however, I would look at how they are created and mimic that for the other two.

Thanks for the reply. Any chance you can be more specific with how I can do this with events or steer me in the right direction?
