A Question About Upgrades

I currently have Gaia 2, 2021, and have been thinking about getting Gaia Pro.  I just want to know two things:

(1) Is it possible, and safe, to install Gaia Pro directly over Gaia?

(2) Can I import terrains from Gaia into Gaia Pro to use the pro features?  (Or, would I just have to start over making them in Gaia Pro.)

These would be good to know both before upgrading and before putting too much time and effort into maps for my current project using Gaia 2021.

Thanks.

You would want to remove Gaia completely before adding in the Pro version.
Just make sure to save any custom biomes/spawners before removing the regular version.

You can use the terrain scanner and scan your terrains to turn them into stamps.
This way you could stamp out the terrain with the terrain you already have.

If you plan on not making any changes then you can just move the terrains to the current project.
Make sure to move the terrain data, terrain layers, and textures.
