Export Gai made LOD-Low-Poly-Terrain into another project without Gaia

We are struggling really hard to export a Gaia made Scene with Gaia made LOD-Low-Poly-Terrainmesh where Gaia does not need to be installed in the other Project.

We so far tried all the previously recommended ways of exporting a scene with no Gaia dependencies. But for no reasons, however we try to export the scene, the Gaia made Mesh is not displayed. All prefabs and other GameObjects do appear but the LOD Terrain is not visible. It is however accessible in the hierarchy.

Is it at all possible to export a low-poly-mesh without Gaia in the other Project?

Thanks for your help!

You will need to export the terrain data or mesh data as well.
Including any textures, trees, etc. that you have used.

We of course did. But it isn’t visible.

Maybe the screenshot provides further information.

However if we do export the scene without converting the terrain to lowpoly-mesh everything works just fine. It seems Gaia is required to display the low-poly-mesh properly. We do have the same issue, when we are trying to open the optimised and game ready mountain-valley scene of yours. Mesh terrain is not visible.

Any suggestions? Because we do use Gaia to build our world but we can’t keep it in our project forever since it’s a massive slowdown to the project and not needed by us beyond terrain design.

Hi @dixZo1337,

how does the material / shader on the exported mesh look like? If the material & shader was not exported over into the target project, the mesh will not be rendered correctly. If there is a material assigned, what happens if you switch it to the standard shader for that pipeline?

U the man! Thanks so much! Shader was not set properly.

Toptier support. Really appreciate it.
