Where is the terrain (or terrain mesh) in the hierarchy?

Hello,

I'm very new to Gaia terrain, I need to use a different grass solution to generate grass, it needs to take Unity terrain or terrain mesh as reference. I'm wondering after Gaia creates the world, is there a terrain or terrain mesh game object in the scene hierarchy?

And is there a way of converting the terrain created by Gaia into mesh (if it's not a mesh yet)?

Thank you

Hi @unityBeginner, Gaia terrain is native Unity terrain - when you create a world with Gaia it takes the Unity terrain object and operates on that, so you will have a unity terrain object in the scene hierarchy just as if you created a new terrain manually in unity.

There is a Terrain to mesh converter included in Gaia that allows you to convert the terrain to a mesh object.
