Ocean components flicker in MacBook Pro - M2 Chip

Hello,

 

Why are ocean components in the scene flickering? It's looking very weird. Please help to resolve this issue.

 

System Configurations

 

Laptop -       MacBook Pro

Chip -           Apple M2

Memory -     24 GB

CPU/GPU -  8-core CPU, 10-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine

  • Solution

This is an issue with Metal graphics API and the water shader. Open the water shader file in Assets\Procedural Worlds\Gaia\Shaders\PW General\PW_Water.shaderIn line 61, remove the two leading slashes "//" to comment in the command "ZWrite Off".
