We released an update for GeNa Pro. This update contains a few new road extension features along with some UX improvements and a wide range of fixes from the support feedback. The update is available for our Canopy Pro subscribers or on the Unity Asset Store / PW Store.

Features:

  • Added Cross Section Override option to the Road Extension.
  • Added new Example of Road Cross Section overrides in 'Asset Samples/Script Examples' folder.
  • Added better debug log system for compute shader issues.
  • Added Separate Y Scale to the Road Mesh options. Defaults to false.
  • Added ability to force CPU (experimental) or GPU for Spawning.
  • Added 'Spawn to Ground' option in GeNa Spawners which is true by default.

 

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed issue with missing references to Sub Spawners.
  • Fixed issue with Serializing/Deserializing Decorators. 
  • Fixed null reference error with 'GetResourceEntity' in certain contexts.
  • Fixed bug with road mesh baking on build when less than 2 spline nodes.
  • Fixed bug with spontaneous null undo records.
  • Fixed bug with spawn crashing when using multiple Sub Spawners.
  • Fixed bug with compute shader Kernel (0) missing on some machines.
  • Fixed bug with slow editor with huge Spawner Prototypes.
  • Fixed bug with skipping some subspawners on LoadReferences.
  • Fixed bug with visited Spawners to load. 
  • Fixed bug with spawn crashing when using multiple sub spawners.
  • Fixed bug with null reference in GeNaTerrainExtensionEditor.
