Spawner issues

Recommended Posts

I have multiple Biomes setup for texturing.  When I use the visualizer on these biomes everything looks correct, however when I actually spawn the textures the spawner gets very confused about where my tiles are located, and where it is at in the game world.

In the picture you can see my visualizer for the sand layer in green, as well as the results of my spawn on the map.  The sand is basically randomly applied to every tile in a grid in the corner of each terrain.  Any help is appreciated.

Managed to get things to spawn correctly but it required moving my biome around the map and spawning locally about 15 times.

Id still love to get this sorted out that way I can keep improving on my splat maps

Hi @William Freed,

could you please explain how the sand spawn was set up in terms of masks? My suspicion is there is an image mask or a distance mask in the setup that is set to "Local" when it should rather be global. When your terrain exceeds a certain size, the spawners will iterate over the world in multiple spawns for technical reasons - if the masks are set to "local" the mask will be applied in the local area of that spawn, resulting in that repeating pattern. Please see this thread where a similar problem was reported recently:
