Spawner system quite working

Hello, I am having an issue when adding a spawner then trying to use it.  After adding the spawner I do the shift + ctrl left click and the other instructions and it does nothing, no error, nothing. Even the old spawner which when I used this the first time worked fine and create a village for me, but now it doesn't work either. Can I get some help with this issue?

nvm, the issue was the ground layer was not set properly.
