We released a new update for our Terrain Shader GTS. The update contains a baked albedo map system to fix pixelation artifacts when the terrain is viewed from a distance, better overall usability and handling fixes and miscellaneous bug fixes with the system.

The update is available on Canopy or on the Unity asset store, as a Canopy Pro subscriber you can download the update from here:

  • Fixed updating reimport error of pipeline shader packages
  • Enabled Detail Settings by default on GTS profiles
  • Restructured where GTS data gets generated.

About GTS

Unity terrains can be difficult to texture and light, and they often look flat and unrealistic. Other terrain shaders are either too complex or not adjustable in real-time. GTS is the perfect solution. Our shader is easy to use, yet provides amazing results.
