Finer control over curves between POI nodes

I am attempting to use Pegasus to "drive" a car along a path.  Part of path requires sharper turns.  When Placing the nodes, it is great on straight paths but, when I need the car to turn the curve calculated is far wider (sometimes even creating a u turn).  Is there a way in pegasus to have finer control over the curve between nodes, similar to a road spline?

Its hard to tell without seeing it.
Sometimes I have noticed depending on the character that you could run into issues with the nodes being too close.
Other times it has to deal with the speed of each node which you could adjust.
You may also want to click on each node and adjust the target view.

I found a way to accomplish what I needed by coding something myself.  Pegasus seems better suited for camera flythroughs.

@Adam Lindsay Is this something you could share and/or describe in more detail? I am running into the same issue
