I am trying to create a lake but the lake's point of view is tiny.

I tried to turn off dynamic clipping on camera settings, but now I can't see the lake at close range. And I tried to change river profiles, but nothing changes.

Click on smooth, then increase the width.

Essentially, what you want are two nodes that are nearly the same height, and a straight spline. The water waves will flow from the highest point to the lowest point, in this case they should be nearly the same height.

Move the points to where the lake is at the height that you want.  Be sure to increase the Bank Overstep, perhaps to the max of 5.
