Identifying post-culled visibility

We're currently integrating SECTR Vis with the Crest ocean rendering system and are having some trouble with renderer visibility getting clobbered. The SECTR_CullingCamera directly modifies renderer.enabled for its children, but Crest also includes its own culling system that sets this value at a different point during execution.

I was hoping that I could add a SECTR_Member component to each ocean tile, then modify Crest to observe either SECTR_Member.IsVisibleThisFrame or SECTR_Member.WasVisibleLastFrame, however its backing field LastVisibleFrameNumber appears never to be set.

What is the most sensible way to detect SECTR's culling state in third-party code?
