Physics performance in other scenes

After installing Gaia I noticed that the physics performance in other scenes has drastically decreased, where I was getting 100 FPS, I am now getting around 4.  The profiler shows that FixedUpdate in the physics processes is taking a very long time.  The scene that uses Gaia has tons more objects and colliders and it runs absolutely fine.

Is there anything that Gaia is controlling that would change or affect the physics in other scenes?

Gaia doesnt do anything with Physics.
I would imagine that you may have another asset that is handling that.
Or this would be a direct Unity issue.

For whatever reason after installing Gaia the fixed update timestep was set to a very low value.  I'm not sure how that happened, or scenes using Gaia didn't have an issue with the low fixed update, but resetting it to the default value fixed the issue for me.
