OnInspectorGUI constantly updating slowly when changing any value in Pegasus

Hi all,

I dont know if this a Pegasus issue or Unity so hopefully someone has a solution

I'm using Pegasus (2.5.4) in Unity version 2021.3.30f1 and every time I change/select anything related to Pegasus Unity is constantly 
Inspector.InintOrRebuild or Editor.Pegasus Poi (Script).OnInspectorGUI for 5 or so seconds every time.

Has anyone come across this?

Hmm, I have not seen this yet. 
I have also been highly testing Pegasus as well. 

I would say remove Pegasus and re import it. 
Maybe something went wrong with the import. 
If the problem persists please send me a video of it.

I tried a new empty scene in my project and a brand new empty project in 2021.3.45f1 and it does it.
I've figured out it's when the distance is very large. My path covers 117km and it's painfully slow.
It starts to lag when the distance is +1km. I suspect it's the statistics section calculating everything and something else iterating over the large distance.

I think this is the case and it becomes practically unusable.

hmmm this is very interesting, I will look into this with the team.

for now what I would suggest looking into using the Unity timeline and creating multiple pegasus tracks, this should help the long distances for now. 

you could tie a fade from cuts, just a suggestion but we will look into this issue.
