Upgrading Unity version from Unity 2018 to 2021 LTS while using Gaia 1.9.1

Hi  

Recently i got task to port game from PC to gaming console. Game was made in unity 2018 with Gaia version 1.9.1. In order to submit game for release on xbox i have to upgrade Unity version to 2021 LTS (at minimum)    

As you probably guess this caused a lot of problems with Gaia compatibility. Multiple errors, terrains created in older version was broken and many others funny shenanigans. Simply put: game is broken beyond repair

Now: is there way to tackle this problem? Im not naive, i know compatibility issues like this are nightmare but... is there any hope for me to save project? Or project is lost?
