Terrain disappears in either Editor or at Runtime pending whether "Stamper" gameobject is selected and "Auto Load Terrains" setting

Hi. I'm using Unity 2022.3.41f1/Windows 11 with Gaia Pro 2023.

I am experiencing an issue where all my terrain will disappear from the Game screen of my editor unless I have the "Stamper" game object selected. Deselecting that game object will immediately cause a couple of brief loading bars and then the terrain disappears again. I can workaround this by going to the "Stamper" game object and opening Advanced>Appearance/Gizmos/Tools and setting "Auto Load Terrains" to "Editor Always". However, this problem then still applies when I enter Play mode. What is so odd is that, if I have the "Stamper" game object selected and then enter Play Mode, I will have my terrain (my player can stand on it, etc...) but _even during Play Mode_ if I deselect "Stamper" the terrain will still disappear and the player will fall into the abyss.

Is this is a bug or am I missing some additional step to complete the stamping process of my terrains? Thanks in advance!

This is intensional for large worlds.
What you would need to do is open the terrain loader in the hierarchy.
Then adjust the terrain loaders from there.

Additionally, at the top of the scene view you will see the Gaia bar:

If you click the little arrow pointing down:

You can use the Scene View Camera and adjust the loading range:

Or do it from world origin.

The other way to do it is to just load them with the buttons in this mode:

Clicking the terrain button will load the terrain in.

Lastly, you can click on the terrain loading manager go down to terrain and load them one by one or Load All.
Just remember the larger the world is the more taxing this is going to be, so be careful using this.

Hope this helps!

Wow! Thank you for the detailed reply. The issue is no longer happening, but I will check these settings to manage it going forward. Take care!
