Can I paint terrain in build using GTS?

Hi! I recently bought GTS to beautify the terrain in my city builder and it works great in editor - however I've come across a problem in build, where judging by the GTSPreprocessBuild.cs script original terrain layers get deleted from the terrain thus making it impossible to update the splatmaps in build at runtime, despite it working just fine in editor. I tried to just comment out the deleting of terrain layers but that doesn't seem to work either, is there some setting/workaround that can be done here or is splat-map updating at runtime in build impossibe?

This could potentially be possible in the future but currently out of the box it isnt. 
We will look and see what we can do in a future update!

ColorMap does not support Tiles Terrain. Hope to update
