I have attached 2 screenshots from the same scene at the same time of day (11:30pm)... One has rain and one does not.  Without rain 11:30pm seems way too bright (terrain and water).  With the rain, it seems more realistically dark.  Where can I make adjustments to get the scene to have the right level of darkness?  Is this just related to the moon phase / brightness, need for more clouds at night, or am I missing a configuration somewhere.  I am attempting to make it more of a horror atmosphere.  I will probably end up going with rain but, I would like to understand why it is so bright without rain.

Hi @Adam Lindsay have you tried to reduce the brightness by adjusting the general exposure curve during nighttime? This should allow you to influence the brightness to your liking.
